Territorial scope of the right of withdrawal

The statutory right of withdrawal set out below applies to consumers whose habitual residence is in a member state of the European Union.

Consumers whose habitual residence is in the United Kingdom have a 14-day right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. The following information applies accordingly to the exercise of that right.

For orders from customers whose habitual residence is outside the European Union and the United Kingdom, in particular Switzerland and the United States of America, there is no statutory right of withdrawal. We may voluntarily accept returns from these countries as a goodwill gesture and refund the purchase price in full or in part. There is no entitlement to this. Please arrange any return with us by email in advance.

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day on which you, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you, take possession of the last goods.

of your decision to withdraw from this contract by means of a clear statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or an email). You may use the attached model withdrawal form, but it is not obligatory.

You can also exercise your right of withdrawal online using the “Withdraw from contract” button in the footer of every page of our shop (https://clothesofculture.com/pages/widerruf-formular). If you use this option, we will send you an acknowledgement of receipt without delay (e.g. by email), including the content of your withdrawal statement and the date and time of its receipt.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Effects of withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (with the exception of the supplementary costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and in any event not later than fourteen days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract. We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.

We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.

You shall send back the goods or hand them over to us without undue delay and in any event not later than fourteen days from the day on which you communicate your withdrawal from this contract to us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of fourteen days has expired.

You will have to bear the direct cost of returning the goods.

You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

Please do not send your goods back without contacting us first. Let us know about your withdrawal by email to hello@clothesofculture.com, via the withdrawal form or via the “Withdraw from contract” button. We will then send you the return address by email. This is how we can match your return and process your refund quickly. This does not restrict your statutory right of withdrawal.
