Goat cashmere is combed rather than shorn, harvested once a year from the undercoat that grows against a Himalayan winter, in a process that hasn't changed much in centuries because nothing has improved it. Its rarity lies in how little each animal yields.
A zipper keeps this piece flat against the body, as an open front never could. Zipped to the collarbone, and the wind simply stops playing a role. Worn open, it still looks intentional, not sloppy.
Over a top with wide-leg pants for a morning that starts cool. Fully zipped for the journey there, open once you've arrived and the room is warm.
